Jeremiah Fox, Chairperson
Jeremiah Fox has worked in the food and beverage industry for 25 years and has lived in Windsor Terrace with his family for the last 13 years. It was a long time fantasy of his to participate in the opening of a new food coop, and the WTFC gave him that opportunity, fueling his passion for regional, seasonal & sustainable food.
Jack O’Connell, Interim Vice Chairperson
Regrettably, I came late to organic food and Leonard Cohen. My wife, Gretchen and I moved, with our 2 children, to Windsor Terrace from Park Slope in 1985. My professional life centered around health care and advocacy on behalf of families and individuals burdened with a low income. Over the years I have served on numerous boards and annoyed many elected officials. The closing of Key Food became an opportunity for a final gift, the beginning of the Windsor Terrace Food Coop.
Sheila McDevitt, Treasurer
Beware of Jack chatting you up at the Coop!! Such a conversation led me to doing the bookkeeping and then creating the fiscal committee, then becoming a Board member and finally a Store Manager. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Although not one of the original members I have been around since we opened the store around the corner from my house. I previously started a Community Garden and Land Trust so I have a little bit of prior experience in the crazy world of volunteer memberships. I am exhilarated by our community and so glad to have found a home!
